Wayra Telefónica Innovation signed a commercial agreement with Candam to distribute the technologies of both RecySmart and Smart Waste portfolios.
Wayra is Telefónica’s innovation hub, with the aim of boosting business between startups and Telefónica. With a total of 7 hubs and a presence in 10 countries, Wayra has a clear objective of helping startups to grow on a global scale.
Wayra has more than 85 active startups in its portfolio, more than 30% making business directly with Telefónica, and had invested more than 8 M€ (60 M€ by third parties).
The agreement aims to include Candam’s IoT portfolio within Wayra’s offering for Europe and LATAM. Additionally, makes it possible that Wayra could perform not only as a commercial channel but also as an investor for Candam and also facilitate our access to multiple benefits.
